EMR/EHR Software - The AMCIS Network
|
|
| |
|
Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health
Records Software is used to allow
health care providers to replace paper
patient charts. An effective EMR/EHR
solution must provide secure
health records storage, facilitate easy
entry and interfacing of a variety of information
types such
as lab results, physicians' notes, and
patient e-mails, and manage the flow of the
information through the office and to
outside providers as it is needed. Because
accurate patient charts are necessary to
deliver quality care, a proper software
implementation must avoid
negatively impacting the current records
management processes of the office. Developed by a doctor, the AMCIS
Network meets all
of the above requirements and provides much,
much more. |

Dr. A. Cyril Spiro
& MD Web Solutions
Dr.
A. Cyril Spiro foresaw the coming of the new age in
Electronic Medical Records in 1996, as a medical student
at the University of Maryland. Despite skepticism at
that time regarding digitizing the healthcare
environment, Dr. Spiro extended his graduate school
education and earned a Masters in Business
Administration at the R. H. Smith School of Business,
College Park (ranked third in the nation in Information
Technology) prior to completing his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Spiro was the first student to complete an
MD/MBA curriculum at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Spiro has also been a
Consultant for GE Medical Systems Information
Technologies and a Physician Executive, as Medical
Information Officer, for a $750 Million Community
Hospital Network in Tampa, Florida. He currently owns
and manages MD Web Solutions in Tampa.
